Who the text is for, what output format is needed and when it should be ready. If you already have a glossary, previous translations or editorial requirements, we use them as the starting point.
Ambiguous wording and inconsistencies in the source are raised for clarification. For recurring projects, we agree terminology so that names and definitions remain consistent across later documents.
Cost, deadline and review scope are agreed before the work begins.
